count the words from a to b

i’m a wordy writer. to keep things under 100 words, your girl needs as much assistance as possible.

i write in google docs. but i’ve never seen an option to show word count.

i thought, “k, i’ll write in docs, search for an online word count tool, paste what i’ve written, and go back and forth copy + pasting from docs to word counter.”

searched “show word count in google docs.” ta-da.

there’s usually a quicker way from a to b. don’t succumb to the scenic route. (unless there’s a nice sunset.)
