idea overload: the curse of the creative.
like most writers, my brain is constantly coming up with new thoughts, concepts, strategies.
lightbulb after lightbulb, flashing nonstop.
it’s overwhelming - blinding, even.
but here’s what i’ve learned: sometimes, in order to see clearly, you have to give your brain a break - put your pen down, close your laptop, take a few deep breaths.
don’t be afraid to step back and flip the switch (or maybe just invest in a dimmer).
you’ll burn brighter when you get back to business.
