what do you think of when you think of “storytelling"?
do you picture a parent reading “goodnight moon” to their children at bedtime, or an elizabethan bard reciting tales to the public?
i think sometimes the very word “storytelling” gets a bad rap - i have a degree in it, and i initially saw it as less-than-professional.
but i’ve changed my tune - because stories are how we connect with other people; they’re personal, they’re powerful, they help us process the human experience.
so don’t be afraid to add some narrative to your professional and personal lives.
be a storyteller.
