now, take a deep breath in. pause, and let it out. zero in on the sound and sensation.
your breath has a tremendous effect on your nervous system, brain, and overall well-being. it can impact how you show up everyday — personally and professionally.
breathe slowly and deeply, consciously inhaling and exhaling. regulate the nervous system. tell the body, “hey, it’s okay to calm down.”
your mind will calm. your decisions will be more level-headed.
and you might realize that you've tapped into your writing's superpower.
